Abstract

This research is motivated by educators and education personnel in private colleges of pharmacy often face various challenges that can affect their well-being, both emotionally and physically. The purpose of this study was to explain Burnout in Educators and Education Personnel at Private Universities of Pharmacy in Padang City. The method used by this researcher is a quantitative method using structural equations. This research will be conducted in all private colleges of pharmacy in Padang City. Research data is obtained and collected directly from the research source, namely data on answers from respondents or questionnaires given to educators and education personnel. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data obtained from the research were then processed and analyzed using two kinds of data analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis and analysis prerequisite tests. The results showed that. First, the results showed that work engagement has a positive influence on religiosity in educators and education personnel. Second, the results showed that workload has a negative effect on religiosity in educators and education personnel. Third, this study found that work engagement has a negative effect on burnout in educators and education personnel. Fourth, workload is proven to have a positive effect on burnout in educators and education personnel. The higher the perceived workload, the higher the level of burnout experienced. Fifth, this study also shows that religiosity has a negative influence on burnout in teaching and education personnel. Individuals who have a high level of religiosity tend to experience lower levels of burnout.
